Briana Wyatt is trained in the classical yogic philosophies of pranayama, asana, mantra, and ayurveda. Certified as a 200 hour yoga instructor by the Deep Yoga School of Healing Arts, with an additional 200 hours of Vedic Therapy training and certification with the world-renowned Laura Plumb, Briana believes that breath (pranayama) and mantra are our personal tools for healing. By centering our thoughts in our hearts and truly living in our bodies, we discover the poise, peace and presence to cultivate compassion and creativity.
Along with teaching yoga, meditation and life coaching, Briana is a Marketing Instructor at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) and serves as the Director of Marketing and Operations for Global Disposal, a local Environmental Consulting firm. Briana also holds positions on the board of the SDSU Business Alumni Network and the non-profit Youth Campaigns.
Briana earned a Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and International Business from San Diego State University. As a student at SDSU, Briana served as a Graduate Assistant, a Researcher for the SDSU Research Foundation, and the Vice President of Public Relations for the Graduate Student Association. Briana spent a semester of her MBA program immersed in international business at Universidad de Salvador in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Prior to teaching at FIDM, Briana worked as in Business Development and Outreach Professional for SDSU; a Project Manager for Lambesis, a highly acclaimed branding and advertising agency in La Jolla; as well as a Staffing Manager for Accountants in Transition, Inc., recognized as one of San Diego’s fastest growing privately held companies.
Briana loves the sunny San Diego lifestyle: Playing with her joyous baby girl, spending time with family and friends, soaking up the sun and, of course, coaching and collaborating.
